An armoured exterior door with an additional thermal insulation set and moisture-resistant UMIDAX boards. Suitable for homes and cottages where the door reacts directly with room temperature. Thermal conductivity 1.2 W/m²K — comparable to a plastic window — engineered to avoid the condensation problems found in other armoured doors.
Closed steel profiles 80 mm wide and 2 mm thick. A folded L-shaped profile welds the threshold and allows double gasket sealing (outside and inside). Standard jambs are insulated with polystyrene foam.
Closed steel profiles 40 mm wide and 2 mm thick, reinforced with two horizontally welded steel profiles to prevent deformation and ensure durability. The exterior is clad with a 1.5 mm steel sheet.
Stage 1: two-component foam expands inside the closed steel profiles. Stage 2: a thermal insulating film with aluminium foil is bonded over the internal metal face, isolating it from the cold bridge. Stage 3: two layers of 2 cm rock-wool maintain soundproofing and thermal performance.
Triple-glazed unit of 4 mm glass, 36 mm total thickness. Supplied as standard with clear or 40% brown tinted glass. Decorative shapes and patterns are available from our carving catalogue.
Italian hinges 20 mm in diameter with journal-bearings for effortless operation. Optional chromium-plated hinge covers available.
Moisture-resistant wood-fibre board, primed and painted in any RAL colour. A wide selection of finishes covers the most demanding requests.
Premium locks from MOTTURA, DORMA, EVVA and similar manufacturers supplied to specification. We advise avoiding safe locks to preserve full thermal performance, as cold can penetrate through the lock body.
